UPV/EHU
The Faculty of Education in Bilbao (UPV/EHU), established in 1980, is a public research university dedicated to generating and disseminating knowledge amidst globalization while maintaining strong ties to Basque culture. Symbolized in its logo by artist Eduardo Chillida and a verse from José María de Iparraguirre's "Gernikako arbola" ("The Tree of Gernika"), its mission is encapsulated in "EMAN TA ZABAL ZAZU" (MUNDUAN FRUITUA): "Give and transmit (your fruit to the world)."
UPV/EHU stands as a leading institution since 1902, shaping future Early Childhood Education teachers. Central to its commitment is the Early Education Laboratory 0-3 years, pioneering in providing high-quality education for infants and toddlers. This innovative space immerses students in the educational process, preparing them to engage effectively in the early stages of childhood development. The research group KideOn, established in 2018, focuses on enhancing Social and Educational Inclusion through research, innovation, and knowledge transfer. It prioritizes active methodologies in teacher training and educational practices, fostering collaboration among UPV/EHU's faculty and partners.
