The SUSIEE methodology is taking shape in Budapest! Partners Hungary Alapítvány Józsefvárosi Egyesített Bölcsődék (JEB). During this pilot phase, children engaged in innovative activities promoting sustainability and intercultural learning in early childhood education.

Through hands-on experiences, ECEC professionals tested strategies that foster environmental awareness, cultural diversity, and inclusive learning from the very start. These pilots are a key step in redefining early education, ensuring that sustainability and interculturality become fundamental pillars of learning and development.

Our activities are a work in progress! The Sure Start Children's Centre organized a common cooking session for families, while early childhood educators led engaging activities with children—planting seeds, building a bird table, and learning about selective waste collection.

With each step, we move closer to an early education model where children grow up connected to both nature and diverse cultures. Stay tuned as we continue shaping the future of ECEC!
