La Xixa carried out the first pilot of the SUSIEE project in Spain with the training “Forum Theatre and Interculturality”, aimed at early childhood education professionals. The experience brought together a group of educators working with children aged 0 to 3, who explored how to approach early childhood education from an intercultural, intersectional and sustainable perspective.

Over the course of the sessions, participants engaged in dynamic and reflective activities using creative and participatory methodologies such as Forum Theatre, educational theatre, critical incident analysis and process work. These tools helped open up new ways to address challenges in early childhood settings and to foster inclusion.

The training focused on:

🌍 Reflecting on diversity, interculturality and systemic inequalities in early years education

🎭 Co-creating theatre scenes based on real experiences to enhance communication and problem-solving

🌱 Identifying practical strategies to introduce sustainability into daily pedagogical practice

🤝 Exploring how to build stronger and more inclusive relationships with families

The pilot was met with great enthusiasm and commitment from all participants, confirming the need for creative and reflective spaces in early childhood education.
